“Coward” was the first noir comic that I ever read, and it was the catalyst for my love of the genre. I owe Mr. Brubaker more than he’ll ever know for that. I’ve met him a couple times, signing at Emerald City Comic Con 2010 and 2011, and he is a terrific guy (basically my hero). So, just as Ed Brubaker gave me the gift of noir, I wish to pass it on!
